Application Process

Submit Your Application

Trusted Messengers may include precinct chairs, influencers, community leaders, community activists, and union leaders (and more). Interested community leaders begin by completing the Trusted Messenger application form on our website. Applicants will be asked to:

• Enter their personal and contact information

• Upload a professional headshot photo

• Submit a brief mission statement explaining why they want to serve as a Trusted Messenger and how they plan to encourage voter participation in their community

Application Review

Once submitted, your application is placed under review by the Trusted Messenger Project Board.

• All applications are carefully reviewed to ensure alignment with the mission of empowering communities, supporting democratic candidates, and increasing voter participation

• The review process takes up to 72 hours from the time of submission

Approval or Denial Notification

Within 72 hours, you will receive an email notifying you of your application status.

• If denied, the email will inform you of the decision

• If approved, the email will include a link to a follow-up survey
